Use of the tools

The tools are free for personal and commercial use. Only process files you own or have permission to use. Do not use the tools to break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including copyright.

No warranty

The tools and guides are provided as they are. We work to keep them accurate but cannot guarantee results. Keep a copy of your original files. Calculator results are estimates and are not financial, medical or legal advice.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Tooldesk is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site.

Open-source software

The tools use open-source libraries under their own licenses, including FFmpeg (LGPL/GPL), PDF.js (Apache 2.0), pdf-lib (MIT), Transformers.js (Apache 2.0), Tesseract.js (Apache 2.0), and AI models released under MIT and Apache 2.0 licenses.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
